Prepping the Print Gauntlet: Widow’s Den Anniversary Market

Prepping the Print Gauntlet: Widow’s Den Anniversary Market

This weekend, we’re hauling our nerdy chaos to the Widow’s Den Anniversary Artisan Market—and oh boy, the print room has not known peace since. Between restocks, giveaways, and the printer family reunion happening in our workspace, it’s been a little like herding caffeinated gremlins. With filament. And 3D firepower.

Let’s talk about the booth first. We’ll be posted up with fresh stock, hand-painted goodies, and giveaways you can snag just for stopping by! It’s our little way of saying “Thanks for being weird with us.” One lucky visitor might even walk away with something custom… and we are SO excited!

But don’t let us forget the plot twist—we actually organized.

The print cave has officially leveled up. We added shelves. Real, actual, functional shelves. For the first time in the history of our chaotic craft dungeon, all our printers have their own designated zones. No more power cords lurking like dungeon traps or half-finished minis living on top of random terrain. We can actually walk around in there now without playing “the floor is molten resin.” It’s glorious.

All the printers are now vibing together like a very loud, slightly judgmental robot council.

Now for the real tea:

The printer army has leveled up.

We’ve added THREE new Bambu Labs printers to our crew. That’s right. We’ve officially moved from “organized chaos” to “voluntary filament-based anarchy.” Our brand-new A1 is now proudly named Bambi (totally original, right?). Joining the squad are two other A1 Minis affectionately dubbed Mickey and Minnie, because they’re small, fast, and definitely up to mischief.

Of course, our veterans are still very much involved in this operation:

  • Spagett (the Anycubic Kobra S1) is dramatically flinging spaghetti monsters around like an abstract artist with a deadline.
  • Kobra Kaiii and Tres Leches (our Kobra 3s) are tag-teaming prints like it’s the final boss fight.
  • And Max-imum Effort, the Kobra 3 Max, has been pushing out big builds like it’s trying to avenge someone.

Between test prints, custom orders, and display pieces for the market, the room is a full-on rave of moving gantries and tangled wires. There’s filament in our coffee cups and PLA curls in our laundry. Freya’s been personally inspecting every single printer and absolutely has notes. Sif’s panicked at least four times because of an auto-bed leveling beep, and Hela… well, she’s stolen at least three giveaway items and hidden them under the couch.

With this dream team (and our newfound ability to walk through the room without parkouring over a dragon head), we’ve been printing up a storm. Expect to see tons of fresh stock, some never-before-seen models, and yes—giveaways at our booth!

We’ll be ready by Sunday. Probably. Hopefully. Definitely.

Catch us this Sunday at the Widow’s Den Anniversary Market inside CrossFit Angier from 2 PM to 6 PM. We’ll be slinging prints, dodging flying supports, and handing out the good stuff.

Bring your curiosity. Bring your friends. Maybe don’t bring your sock-stealing pets. And please - make sure to let Bambi know he’s doing a great job. He needs the validation more than Stacy needs a Dr Pepper daily to maintain her sanity.

See y’all there!
